LIAK was established to promote cooperation between Latvian industrial sector organizations.

Main Goals

• Promote the development of effective production processes, ensuring efficiency and optimization of resources;

Innovation support:
• Stimulate innovations and innovations in the field of production, ensuring technological progress and competitiveness;

Development of the Defense Industry:
• To work together on the development of the defense industry, especially on the support of the development of security and defense products and technologies.

Tasks

• To ensure effective representation and participation in negotiations with the government and state institutions in order to protect and promote the interests of industrial sectors;

Participation in the development of legislation:
• Follow up on the legislative processes, being involved in the development of draft laws and the improvement of the regulatory base, which refers to industrial sectors;

Consulting and expertise:
• Advise the Latvian government and state administrative institutions on the needs of Latvian industry and provide support in order to ensure the development of Latvian industry in Latvia in the most effective and also the most practical way;

Cooperation with other organizations:
• Actively cooperate with other business representative organizations, promoting a common position and joint initiatives;

Support initiatives:
• Support initiatives that promote the development of industrial sectors, technological progress and economic growth.
